This is a band I was a part of in 1998. The band was unintentionally created by some of the members messing around with a computer microphone, which later turned into recording songs on it. One album was created, entitled This Is Rape. There were around 80 copies of the album produced, and they are all sold out and in circulation. However, you can download this album here. I did the vocals for "Pocket Pussy", "Help", "Up Yours", "Dildo", and guitar on "The Fuct". I also did most of the post production work, engineering, and art work. Almost all the songs on this album were created & recorded on the fly. What you hear is us making up the song as we go. There was no practice. Future albums from the Rape Victims are doubtful, as each band member lives in a different part of the country, and communication has been lost. There were already approximately seven songs planned for the next album. This time around we had a plan of what we were going to do and actually practice the songs before recording them! Unfortunately it was never recorded. |
